Portable Telescopic, Laser Sight Thermometer Twin lasers and a built-in optical telescope simplify precise aiming on small targets at extended distances with Process Sensor Corp.'s latest addition to their range of portable infrared thermometers. The Models PSC PTLST-20-1M and 2M also feature a dual grip handle to assist steady aiming. A Portable Telescopic, Laser Sight Thermometer, the PTLST-20-LT is for general purpose, dull surface applications. Typical applications for the portable instrument are slag free molten metals and crucibles, furnace surveys in the steel, glass and refractory industries, molten glass, semiconductor wafers, composites, ceramics, induction heating of metals and spot measurements in vacuum furnaces. Handheld Digital Infrared Thermometer PSC-90 is a versatile non-contact, portable digital infrared thermometer for accurate measurement and data logging of surface temperature. It can also be mounted on a tripod for short-term monitoring.
Handheld Portable Series The models PSC-PLST and PSC-PLMS are portable battery operated, handheld infrared thermometers primarily used for general purpose temperature measurement applications such as electrical connections, motors, switch gear, PC board components, composites, wood etc. The PSC-PLST has advanced capabilities featuring an external switch which changes the focus range from a far distance with cross hair laser to a close focus distance providing an extremely small target size diameter of 1mm. In addition it offers high resolution optics, graphical PSC-PLST connect software, a thermocouple input, a 360° rotating display for flexible viewing positions, internal data memory and multi-color backlit display for status of set point alarms The PSC-PLMS ir thermometers are ergonomic designed and economically priced with high value features in mind, including a wide temperature range, laser sighting, on board alarms, adjustable emissivity, PSC connect software & thermocouple.

Polaris PS & PI Non-contact Infrared Heat Switch The Polaris line is a cost-efficient and an accurate non contact infrared temperature switching device, for the recognition of hot parts. The short wave spectral sensitivity of these units is important for the precise detection of polished, bright metal parts, because the impact of emissivity deviation on accuracy is much lower in the near end infrared region. The Polaris temperature heat switch provides 2 transistor outputs and includes 2 yellow LED's on the back of the sensor indicating the switching position. Focus distances range from 6.7" (170mm) to 79" (2000mm) depending on the choice of selected optics. Spot sizes range from 1.3mm to 11mm. Available temperature ranges are from 300 °C to 1800°C. NOVA Infrared Temperature Graphic System IR temperature monitoring and alarm system has bold color graphics and touch screen display. Process Sensors’ NOVA infrared temperature graphics system provides a bright, touch-screen color-graphics display that monitors up to 4 infrared thermometers, specifically, the Metis & Sirius Series pyrometers, and has temperature displays and visual alarm descriptions for each input. Relay, and analog 4-20mA outputs for audible alarms or other external functions are also provided. Temperature trends and history are shown graphically, and data is stored on a removable, 2GB SD card. Typical applications for small groups of sensors are temperature zoned ovens and furnaces; and web processes such as paper, textiles and plastics, where a predetermined cross-web temperature profile must be maintained. Monitoring such processes, and also conveyor transported powders, aggregates, foodstuffs and wood products, is simplified by the Nova System’s on-line trend displays. Password protected alarm settings, sensor parameters and input channel descriptions are accomplished via the touch screen display, and a “search” function detects the presence of connected devices. The system accepts signals from all Process Sensors’ Metis and Sirius IR thermometers. All customer connections are made to connectors located on the bottom of the NOVA System enclosure. The Nova touch screen display is offered in two sizes: 3.5” & 5.7” |
